Your KOMA Blast Freezer:
The "BLIZZARD-system" is an exclusive KOMA technology. Your KOMA Rack Freezer has been developed with the new KOMA TLR formula. Important in this technology is that a
constant flow of fresh products is quickly blast frozen, which results in the lowest dehydration of the product, which retains its maximum possible quality and taste over a
longer period of time. The name KOMA stands for freezing tech nology of the highest quality and precision, designed and produced with the most modern machinery at our plant in Roermond, the
Netherlands. Special attention has been paid to the strict Hygiene regulations (HACCP) during both design and manufacturing stages and therefore cleaning of the installation is relatively easy to do.
The object of the KOMA KTT-system is to retain the fine cell structure and moisture content of the product which results in retention of the aroma and taste with a minimum weight loss, which of course is then reflected in the quality of your product. The special designed KOMA evaporator provides a strong air movement, partly horizontal and partly vertical directed onto the product provides a good turbulence and cold air deliverance. This homogenous airflow guarantees the very best uniform cooling down of all products. The BLIZZARD blast-freezing tunnel is extremely suitable for a continuous deep freezing process.
